URL Parser: Parse and Rebuild URLs
Paste an absolute URL (optional base for relatives), inspect every component, edit fields or query pairs, and rebuild a copyable href. Parsing uses your browser’s platform URL API when available—no network requests.
Absolute URLs parse alone. Relative paths need a base below.
Components
Edit any field, then rebuild. Origin is read-only from the platform parser.
Query pairs
| Key | Value | Remove |
|---|
No query pairs.
Rebuilt URL
Parser honesty:
This tool calls the platform URL / URLSearchParams implementation (WHATWG). Unicode hostnames are typically shown as Punycode after IDNA ToASCII; the tool does not re-run a separate IDNA library. Pathname and the raw search string may retain percent-encoding, while query-pair values from URLSearchParams are decoded. Default ports may be omitted from port and host. Password is masked by default and never stored or transmitted.
