What this tool does

It tokenizes CSS in the style of CSS Syntax Module Level 3, then removes comments and whitespace that are not required to keep the same tokens. It does not evaluate calc(), rewrite colors, merge rules, or shorten identifiers.

Limitations: custom-property values may lose author whitespace; unclosed comments swallow the rest of the sheet; the tool reports tokenizer and brace issues but still emits a best-effort result. Invalid property values are not evaluated.
